FOUNDER & VISIONARY

Greetings! I am Oye, the passionate founder and visionary behind For Kingdom and Light Ministries (F-KAL). I am happily married to Peter Olasunkanmi and we have two beautiful daughters Bethel and Peniel. My journey in establishing this organization has been profoundly shaped by an unwavering commitment to witnessing people of all ages come to know Jesus and flourish in their faith journey.

My early exposure to church life, beginning at the tender age of 8 or 9, ignited a fervor within me for serving in various capacities. From being the youngest member of the church choir to playing the side drum in the marching band, I eagerly participated in choir competitions and parades. These formative experiences cultivated a love for God’s work and set the stage for my ongoing dedication to service.

As I matured, my involvement in the choir expanded to leading worship, revealing a unique grace and anointing for sharing the gospel through the medium of music. However, my personal journey took a challenging turn during my teenage and adult years as I grappled with faith struggles. Despite remaining active in church, I lacked a profound relationship with the Holy Spirit, emphasizing the crucial need for early discipleship to guide young hearts and sustained mentorship for all believers.

My personal turning point occurred a few years ago when my relationship with God underwent a transformative shift. Experiencing the joy of true fellowship with the Holy Spirit ignited a deep-seated burden within me—a calling to lead others on a similar journey of knowing Jesus and maturing in their faith. My desire is not just for individuals to encounter Christ but to remain rooted in Him, bearing lasting fruit.

In this season of inspiration, I have received profound encounters and revelations, fostering an intense longing to spend more time with God, delve deeper into His Word, and earnestly carry out His will. For Kingdom and Light Ministries stands as a testament to this divine calling, seeking to spread the truth of God’s Word, share the love of Christ, and illuminate His light for all to see. Through curated experiences that spark genuine interest in knowing God, serving Him, and maturing in faith, we aim to make a lasting impact on hearts, guiding them towards a life filled with purpose and divine connection.
